Client Feedback & Project Insights
Location: Carnoustie, Scotland
What were the reasons for starting your project?
Our previous trim trail was no longer fit for purpose and had been unavailable for use for many months.
How did you discover Sovereign and why did you choose us?
Information from another local authority school who had worked with Sovereign on a new trim trail and had a positive experience.
What was your experience of our design and installation process?
Working with Sovereign was very smooth and straightforward. The design and drawings were presented in a way that we could share with the children and any suggestions for changes or improvements were quickly made to the design so that the children could see their ideas were being listened to and included in the final product.
How has our equipment impacted or benefitted your school/organisation?
The children are delighted, and our Parent Council were fully on board with the need for a new trim trail to be installed. It is an excellent addition to our school grounds which I’m sure will be enjoyed by hundreds of children in the years ahead.
What was your overall experience of having Sovereign fulfil your project?
Ben has been terrific, always available and quick to respond to any questions we had. He made sure we had all the information we needed throughout the process and talked us through how the plan would work. He has continued to keep in touch after the installation to make sure that everything is in line with our expectations and to provide helpful advice for maintenance of the new structure.

“Carlogie Primary School’s existing outdoor play equipment had become outdated and was no longer functional, rendering it unavailable for use for several months. With the need for a new play structure, the school decided to invest in a modern timber trim trail to benefit their students and enhance the school grounds. With a set budget in mind, the school sought a solution that would provide long-term enjoyment for the children.
The Headteacher of Carlogie Primary School was introduced to Sovereign through a positive recommendation from another local authority school. Our design team collaborated closely with the school to ensure the new trim trail incorporated the children’s input. The designs were shared with the children, allowing them the opportunity to provide suggestions, which were then integrated into the final timber trail. As a result, the school now boasts an exciting new trail that will keep their children active and engaged for years ahead.”
