Co-Op Little Pioneers was a newly constructed nursery in Telford that required the development of its outdoor area to accommodate playground equipment. We were approached by Nick, the project manager representing the Co-op Nursery Trading Group, to provide a design and quote for this area. As the building had not yet been completed, design work was initially based on the developer’s plans. The project spanned several years from initial concept to completion, involving extensive planning, design iterations, and coordination.

“This was a rewarding project to be involved in as the new-build allowed us to explore a wide range of designs and equipment for the nursery’s outdoor environment. Adjustments were made throughout to maximise the space for creative and developmental activities. The nursery now features areas for sheltered learning and play, practical storage solutions, planters to encourage interaction with nature, a bespoke tower and roadway for imaginative play, and a variety of safer surfacing options to complete the environment.”
