“For years we have had a wooden stage our school grounds, which the children loved playing on. Sadly, this rotted and had to be removed, so we were looking for something to replace it. The idea of a gazebo type structure with a roof was mentioned, as we felt it could be used all year round – and used as a learning space as well as somewhere for the children to play.I contacted our Trust works department for a list of suggested suppliers, then began to ring around. At this stage I was open about the fact that we didn’t have the money to fund the project, but I wanted an idea of what amount we were aiming for. Rick from Sovereign was the only rep who took the time to visit school and give me advice. Sadly, no other suppliers were interested at this stage.
When the time came, over 18months later, that we did have the funds- we got quotes from other companies but chose to be loyal to Sovereign due to the good service they had given us previously.
The design and installation process were very efficient, and we had good communication from Sovereign throughout.
The children and staff love the new area! It is already being well used at breaks and lunchtimes by the children for games, reading, chatting and even the odd performance. Staff have started using it for lessons, story-time and small group work. I’m confident as we find more ways to use it, that it will be a massive asset to our school grounds.
I would definitely use Sovereign again and would not hesitate to recommend.
They did a great job! Thank you.”

“This project began when a much-loved wooden stage on the school grounds had to be removed due to rot. It had been a central play feature for the children, and the school was keen to replace it with something even more versatile. Early conversations led to the idea of a roofed gazebo structure – something that could serve as both a play space and an outdoor learning area, usable in all weather. Eighteen months later, once funding became available, the school obtained fresh quotes but ultimately chose to remain with Sovereign for fulfilling their project. They now boast a versatile gazebo that’s being enjoyed by all, serving as a space for play, learning, and everyday fun.”
