Sabden Parish Council identified the availability of allocated funds and subsequently initiated this playground project to explore opportunities to enhance the existing play provision. The project focused on the introduction of new play equipment specifically designed for older children, ideally aged 10 years and above, in order to broaden the range of play opportunities available.

“This project developed with Sabden Parish Council following positive discussions around improving local play provision. It was a pleasure to work closely with Angela, the Parish Clerk, throughout the process, ensuring the Council’s requirements were clearly understood and reflected in our design proposals. The focus was on high-quality, age-appropriate play equipment that would appeal to older children and add value to the existing play area. The final scheme saw the installation of a bespoke version of our Connect Trail 4, helping to expand the range of play opportunities available and promote active, engaging play for the community.”
