Born and bred in Cambridge, I graduated from Brunel University in 1995 and worked in property sales before joining Sovereign.
I’m married and with a son and daughter which has given me new insight into my work designing playgrounds and now know first-hand what children at all stages of development want from an exciting and educational play area.
Aside from creating and designing amazing play spaces, I enjoy watching football, playing tennis and kayaking with my family.
Favourite piece of Sovereign Play equipment:
Titan, because its simply awesome! I sold the first ever one we installed to a lovely school in Elton, Cambs and when I went to see it after installation, I was amazed at the size and variety of challenges it comprised – the children were playing on it and simply couldn’t get enough. It has low, medium and high challenges so caters for a wide variety of ages and abilities.
Best thing about my job:
Going back to the school or site once the project has been completed and seeing the children enjoying what I have helped create.

“The installation of the new playground has been more successful than we could have ever hoped. The large pergola has made a wonderful shaded area from the sun and we’ve been able to have activities outside when it’s raining too. The surface change has made the transition of outdoors to indoors, much easier, with no need to change muddy shoes or wellies. Bikes and trikes are much easier to manoeuvre around the flat surface. The mud kitchen, climbing unit and adventure mound are firm favourites. Staff and children enjoy the outdoor space so much more!”
