I’ve lived in Wiltshire for almost 30 years and since joining Sovereign I’ve covered the South West region as well as the whole of Wales and Berkshire. I now only cover the Southwest, but drive many miles doing so. I must love my job because who in their right mind would get up and drive 250 miles to Cornwall for an 8am appointment?!
The quality of our play equipment, combined with the outstanding capability of my colleagues to deliver what was discussed at that first meeting, is fantastic. It gives me and my clients confidence that the final outcome will always be what they imagined at the very beginning of the design process.
I’m married with four grown-up children – three girls and a boy – and this year I will become a grandparent for the first time as my two eldest girls are due to have babies very soon. I can’t wait.
I look forward to continuing doing the job I love for many years to come!
Best thing about my job:
I have always enjoyed creating playgrounds because there’s nothing better than putting smiles on children’s faces and seeing how a play area can be completely transformed to deliver the wow factor of a completed job.

“The installation of the new playground has been more successful than we could have ever hoped. The large pergola has made a wonderful shaded area from the sun and we’ve been able to have activities outside when it’s raining too. The surface change has made the transition of outdoors to indoors, much easier, with no need to change muddy shoes or wellies. Bikes and trikes are much easier to manoeuvre around the flat surface. The mud kitchen, climbing unit and adventure mound are firm favourites. Staff and children enjoy the outdoor space so much more!”
