I’ve worked in the play industry for over 12 years, amassing a wealth of experience in a wide range of markets. My passion, however, is working within the education sector, and I have helped to create hundreds of healthy and exciting play spaces which thousands of children have enjoyed.
Although I enjoy most sports, my main love is golf, but with two sporty, grown-up sons who play for local football teams and a daughter who loves horse-riding and basketball, my weekends are spent more in a supporting role… for now, at least!
Best thing about my job:
It gives me the opportunity to work with teachers and children to improve the school’s outdoor environment, helping them grow and develop into the next stages of their lives.
Favourite playtime game as a child:
Has to be golf… I took up playing it when I was five.
Favourite piece of Sovereign Play equipment:
The Titan – it’s a robust piece of equipment that can be anything the children want it to be! It offers great value for money and is big enough to accommodate an entire school class.
