“I am sure this will be the first and last time I ever get asked to design a play scheme in a 40m x 24m poly tunnel! As the surrounding area had supporting posts every 4m lengthways, we had to carefully consider the fall zones with this project.
With some area challenges and the fantastic creative input of the client, there was much to consider. After a few design revisions the client was pleased with our proposal. The last hurdle and final piece of the project was a custom made quadruple stainless steel bumpy slide, which arrived from the supplier at the very end of the works, weighing nearly a tonne, and had to be moved with a forklift.
Despite the complexity of the project, we proudly met the client’s specific timescale. The play area was open in time for the Easter holidays – in which the client had already sold hundreds of tickets to local families.
The final result…WOW! Quite simply the most unbelievable installation I have ever seen in my 18 years at Sovereign. Photos do not begin to do it justice.
Another very happy client who has this week recommended me to a school in Hunstanton, Norfolk.”
